Molded with cultural relics of thousands of years from the china furnaces that create the uniquely beautiful and high-quality china tiles for Ottoman Empire during its most glorious days and playing a lead role in the history for centuries, İznik has always been the capital of culture and aesthetics. It is one of rare allocations having the chance of being the capital city of four empires. During the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, İznik became the center of artistic crafts, and world-famous china and ceramics were manufactured in this city. The city still maintains its historical urban texture with castellated urban structure of Hellenistic Era and monumental structures of Rome, Byzantium and Ottoman Eras.Following the early departure from our hotel in the morning, we arrive at the city center where we can try some authentic dishes during a quick stopover.
First we witness the cultural level of the mankind in the ancient period by visiting the antique theater from Roman Period, and then see the china furnaces manufacturing the uniquely beautiful china tiles of the great Ottoman palaces as from the 16th century.
Next, we tour the city starting with Church of Hagia Sophia. The tour will mostly require hiking whereas there will be some transportation with vehicles as well.

Bursa is one of the rare cities which were a cradle to numerous civilizations and religions as of the years before the Christian era. A wide number of surviving relics and historical artifacts of Muslim, Christian and Hebrew ancestry are still under protection. Being a capital city of Ottoman Empire for quite a long time, Bursa is one of the most interesting cities that deserve a closer look.



Locations: We arrive at Bursa around 10.30am and make a quick stopover in the city center. Then we tour the following locations in the specified order which will be determined in accordance with the weather conditions. Ulu Cami (The Great Mosque), Orhan Cami (Orhan Gazi Mosque) and Social Complex, Hüdavendigar Cami (Murat I Hudavendigar Mosque) and Social Complex, Yeşil Cami (Green Mosque), Yeşil Türbesi (Green Mausoleum), Emir Han (Emir Inn), Koza Han (Koza Inn), Botanical Garden.
