How to Register

Registration is to be made via this website through the Conftool Conference Management System which is used for the submission, as well. All online process going to be done via this system, to sign in to the system you should be registered(signed up) as user.

Simply process steps are:

First step( in order to register to system and to submit an abstract)

• Register(sign up) to Conftool System as User.
• Login(sign in) to system.
• Submit your contribution.
• Getting reviewing process results.
• Submitting final version of your contribution.

Second step ( in order to register to symposium as a participant )

• Consider, Early Participation Discount
• Paying your participation fee. (Consider, Early Participation Discount)
• Getting your symposium participation details.

Deadline for registration 04 September 2009
The authors of the accepted presentation should do his/her full registration (with payment) before 4th of September 2009 to see their presentation scheduled on the programme. The contributors who do not register by 4th of September will not be listed on the programme.

Notes about Participant Types & Reduced Fees

• The Student Fee is applicable to any type of student (i.e., undergraduate, Master, PhD).
• Members :
  • IAPS Members 2009 ( Reduced Registration Fee is applicable only to members who have already paid their IAPS Membership Fee for the year 2009 )

The symposium fee includes:

For Participants

• Participation to all the symposium sessions,
• Coffee breaks and lunches on October 14th, October 15th, October 16th,
• Welcome cocktail/buffet on October 13th
• Conference dinner October 16th,
• Proceedings
• A participant's bag and insert including programme, name tag and invitation cards

For Accompanying Persons

• Participation to all the symposium sessions,
• Coffee breaks and lunches on October 14th, October 15th, October 16th,
• Welcome cocktail/buffet on October 12 or 13th
• A participant's bag and insert including programme, name tag and invitation card the fee for the accompanying person will not include proceedings and Conference dinner

The fee for the accompanying person will not include proceedings and Conference dinner.

Important note:
Please note that hotel accommodation and travel are not covered by the registration fees. Please visit the social events section of the web page for details. Participants and accompanying persons can also register for trips and tours.

Payment Method

• Symposium fees must be received as a NET payment by us.
• All fees for the symposium registration and social events should be paid in €(EURO).
• Payment of registration fees can only be made via bank transfer.
• Payment details will be given at the end of registration process. To start registration visit REGISTER NOW page, please.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• The registration of participation is binding.
• Any registration modifications and/or cancellations must be sent in writing to e-mail address of symposium office. For administrative reasons, refunds will be processed in 15 days after the Symposium.
  The following refund rates apply for registrations;
• Cancellation of registration will be accepted between 14/December/2008 and  01/June/2009 and the registration fee will be refunded, However the refund will be 70% of the registration fee after deduction of administrative expenses.
• Between 01/June/2009 and 04/September/2009, cancellation of registration will be accepted. However the refund will be 45% of the registration fee after deduction of administrative expenses.
• For cancellations received after 04/September/2009, the registration fee will become non-refunduble.
• Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.
• The conference program may be subject to changes.
• Payments will be refunded if the conference will be cancelled by the organizer. In that case, the organizer will have no further liability to the client. Registrations remain valid if the conference has to be postponed.
